Job Description / Responsibility
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
In charge of vessels movement operation and assigning duties to assistants.
Instruct and advice in preparation operation.
Arrangement for sufficient number of tug boat.
Advice on mooring and quays for berthing vessels.
Monitoring and checking of vessel’s mooring condition related to safety while moored at berthing location.
Act as sea trial master when undergoing trial of new building or conversion.
Coordinate with relevant authorities such as MPA,PSA Pilot Office and Port Control in conjunction with port marine safety activities and vessel internal movements.
Any other duties as assigned by superior(s) from time to time.

Educational Requirements
Graduated from Marine Academy, Chittagong.
Certificate of competency Master Home trade (Class 4) and/or;
Certificate of competency 2nd Mate FG (Class 3)
Experience Requirements
Minimum 8 year(s)
Additional Job Requirements
Age below or equal to 35 year(s)
Only males are allowed to apply.
On vessel bridge, quays and dock side.
